ROOT CANAL TREATMENT

What Is a Root Canal Treatment?

Root canal therapy is a dental treatment performed to repair and save an infected or damaged tooth. This procedure is typically recommended when the tooth’s pulp, which contains nerves and blood vessels, becomes infected or damaged.

While root canal therapy is often seen as a last resort, it can be a necessary treatment to prevent the spread of infection and to save the tooth.

How do you know when you need a root canal?

  • If you feel constant and severe pain and pressure in your mouth.
  • Noticeable swelling in your gums.
  • Sharp pain when you bite down on food or after eating hot or cold foods.
  • Tooth pain that disrupts sleep.

If you notice any of these symptoms, you need to have an examination as soon as possible.

How many visits do you need for R.C.T
to be completed ?

With all the recent advances and our in-house technology we do single sitting RCT. In case of severe infections, multiple sittings protocol is followed.

It totally depends on the tooth and the severity of infection in the tooth being treated.
